Hello Neighbors,
Outside Lands has posted a fascinating podcast about Columbia Heights, that slice of our neighborhood bordered by Ridge Lane, Summit, Josiah, and San Jose. (If you live on Josiah, Margaret, Majestic, Caine, or the part of San Jose directly below Caine, you live in “Columbia Heights”.)
Especially fascinating is the fact that in the beginning, all Columbia Heights residents got their water from a well at 72 Majestic, whose owner reluctantly became a 1 man utility company.
