Meeting minutes from 5/3/2022:
Moneka, MaryBeth and Barbara met on May 3.
- We decided that we would have a planting party on Parcel 1 on Sunday, May 15 from 10am – 1pm (or earlier if everything is done before then). We will be digging up the big clumps of weeds and putting in the plants we have on hand. We look forward to seeing you out there – tell your neighbors – it’ll be fun!
Bring your own tools and compost bags, if you have them.
- It was suggested that in lieu of our monthly Tuesday evening meetings, we have a monthly meet up on Parcel 1 or 4, where we will do some Lane maintenance and discuss anything that needs to be taken care of.
Does this sound good to others? When would be the best day/time?
During the summer hours we could still meet on an evening, say at 6:30 or 7 for an hour or so, or we could move it to a Saturday or Sunday.
Let us know what you think, along with day/time preferences.
My vote would be for an early evening – at least through September.
- Lastly, SFPA is holding their annual day of workshops on Thursday, May 12 in GGP. If you haven’t seen that email, and are interested in going – let me know and I will forward it. You can also get info on their website. Two members of their affiliated organizations (like RLN) can attend for free
