Hi Neighbors – due to chance of rain the Groundbreaking Celebration originally planned for tomorrow, April 9th, has been postponed. We want to have it on a sunny, beautiful day! A new date will be announced A.S.A.P.

P.S. Our regular monthly meeting will be held Thursday April 14th, 7-8:30pm, SF Public Library Ocean @ Plymouth. Please join us!

****Meeting notes added 5/11/16

Meeting held 14 April 2016 at the Ingleside Branch Library

In attendance: neighbors: Patricia Riis; Robert Muehlbauer; Adele Brookman; Barbara VanderBorght
                        Julia Brashares, SF Parks Alliance
Project Update Phase I
Patricia reported that CatMex has scrubbed the lane and removed some of the ivy. Lane neighbor reactions have generally been positive.   The neighbor who will be getting a new fence is considering painting the side of their house, which would happen prior to the work in that section.
Suzanne from CatMex has coordinated with PUC for the water meter and backflow installation.  This will take awhile to take effect, so it’s important to start the process now.
Patricia has asked Suzanne to put up a sign with project and contact information, which she has agreed to do.  After some discussion about what kind of form this would take and whether it would be permanent or temporary, it was decided that Patricia would suggest a structure outlined by a drawing Robert made.
Phase II
Robert and Patricia (and perhaps Barbara) will meet with Frances Hsieh from Sup. Avalos’ office soon to discuss hopefully securing funding for Phase II of our project.  Phase II will be the section between Caine and San Miguel.
Celebrating
Since the Ground Breaking Party had to be called off, and groundbreaking has already occurred, it was decided we should now plan on having a celebration for the Grand Opening instead.  CatMex has projected finishing the project by the end of May.  To be sure that all will be ready, we are considering two dates in June: Saturday June 11 or June 18.  We would like to choose the date when the most people involved in the project will be able to participate and our benefactors will be able to attend.  Please respond to me with your date choice by April 28.     Robert will ask Sup. Avalos. Sandra, can you ask Mohammed?
Next meeting: Thursday May 12 at the Ingleside Branch Library
